The ART of DIVING - INDIVIDUAL & SAFE

alt

Have it your way? Have it the SUBEX-Way! Our mission: to fulfill your wishes!

Professional SUBEX dive leaders will brief you thoroughly about what to expect in terms of topology, animal kingdom and currents. They will also explain the equipment and necessary safety measures for a fun diving adventure.

If required or desired, the guest will be accompanied by an experienced guide.

Groups never comprise more than 4 divers.

Each guided dive is arranged by the guide as an ‘experience dive’ and a comprehensive debriefing is held thereafter.

Requirements

All divers will enjoy their hobby with SUBEX. As per usual international practice, the diver simply has to bring proof of their training. Inexperienced divers – usually with fewer than 20 to 30 dives – or divers who not yet judged to be independent enough after the Welcome Dive will be assigned an approved SUBEX diving guide.

Diving in the sea

Every dive takes place in open water: both the Introduction Dive (as first diving experience) and all courses for learning how to dive.

In-depth basic training

Our vast experience in instruction has enabled us to put together exercises that will allow each graduate to take home the necessary and challenging basic knowledge. The topic of ecology is strongly integrated into the training programme, enabling the student to learn about the environmental conditions of the Red Sea.

Confidence and safety

All our water lessons take place in open water; in Hurghada exclusively from the boats.

Environmental Actions

We know how sensitive the underwater ecology system is to the effects of diving tourism. Therefore, not only do we try to teach diving, we also try to raise our students’ awareness of flora and fauna on each dive. A respectful attitude to the environment is extremely important to us.

Technical Service

All SUBEX diving gear is periodically serviced and always well-maintained by specially trained staff in fully equipped workshops at all bases. Naturally, these sites and expert support from the instructors are available to guests.

Safety

All bases and diving boats have excellent emergency management processes and aid services such as oxygen, the Wenoll system, VHF radio, mobile phones, first-aid box and trained staff. External pressure chambers are also available.

altTransport of Equipment

The crew at all bases will take the heavy diving gear to and from the boats. With any dive from shore, the guest only has a short distance to walk to the access point. Compressed air cylinders are handed over at access.

Pick-up Service

In order to allow guests to stay at a hotel of their choice, we will drive them to the bases in Hurghada and Sharm-el-Sheikh in the morning and bring them back in the evening. Pre-registration is recommended for organisational reasons.

Arrival, Reservation and Bookings

All our bases are equipped with state-of-the-art communication technology such as e-mail, Internet, fax and telephone. This allows each customer to contact their desired base quickly and easily from anywhere in the world.
Our diving programme can be booked through all diving holiday companies and large tour operators (go to our links page). Please visit our Booking pages for online reservations.

Payment Methods

Pay for services at all bases by the following methods:
  • Cash or by traveller's and Euro cheques in the currencies: CHF, EURO, US$ and £E
  • Credit cards: Visa, Master/Euro-Card, Amexco
