Do you want to further your education in marine biology? Do you have an eye for the small reef dwellers and want to get to know them better? We open your eyes and you will recognize living creatures you have otherwise carelessly swum past.
Prerequisites
• Completed diving training (SUBEX-Diver, CMAS/VDST 1 Star, OWD SSI/PADI)
• 15 logged dives
• Minimum age 14 years
About the course:
Aim of the course:
- You will be introduced to marine biology and get to know the most important groups of animals and plants.
- With this knowledge you will be able to dive more adventurously in the sea, to minimize your own influence on the marine habitat and to recognize possible negative changes in the habitat.
Course content:
- 2 dives with focus on marine biology.
- Theoretical unit in briefing and debriefing: Ecology, Red Sea, difference between animal or plant, floral animal coral, fish, invertebrates.
