Introduction to sport diving. The Getting to know program for beginners!
Equivalent to the GDL Basic Diver program and the Scuba Diver program of SSI & PADI, but with FUN factor.
Prerequisites
- Prerequisite for participation is good health and a minimum age of 12 years.
- No previous diving knowledge is required, but swimming skills are required.
About the course:
Don’t you have enough time to complete your diving training during this holiday? Diving just for fun now and then? Would you like to dive now but not spend too much theory time on holiday? The theory is abbreviated and diving starts right away. In a small group of 2 – 4 divers, you will learn the basic skills you need to feel comfortable and safe underwater. You learn the most important exercises in a playful way. At the end of the course you may dive to a depth of 12 meters with a guide.
Aim of the course:
The main aim of this course is to introduce you slowly to diving practice in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. The diver should feel comfortable in his equipment and can use it. It steers itself with correct posture and fin movement. Since this course can be part of the basic SUBEX Diver training, skills that are part of the dive training, such as the handling and correct use of diving equipment, as well as floating (buoyancy) under water, are already practiced. In diving theory, the course participants also learn everything they need to know.
Course content:
- 3 dives with detailed pre- and debriefings.
- 2 theory lessons (Diving equipment & Ecology).

- You will receive the SUBEX FUN Diver card and a voucher worth 50 CHF for the upgrade to SUBEX Diver.
- SSI Scuva Diver certification is available on request and at an additional cost.
