The SSI Advanced Specialty Diver is a combination of experience and continuing education and is certified as a recognition level.
To be certified as an SSI Advanced Specialty Diver, you must provide proof that you have successfully completed 4 specialty courses and have 24 logged dives at the time of certification. Of the 4 specialty courses, at least 2 must be SSI certified. You are free to choose which specialty courses you want to take to obtain the SSI Advanced Specialty Diver.
